Some brands had side hustles that still blow our minds today. Here are a few “hang on, what?!” moments from the 90s/00s (and just around them):

- Walkers — crisps kings who also had Quavers, Wotsits & Monster Munch in the family at various points.
- Mars — beyond chocolate bars, the company behind Uncle Ben’s rice (now Ben’s Original).
- Nestlé — KitKat legends who also owned Rowntree’s classics like Fruit Pastilles & Polo mints.
- Kellogg’s — not just cereal; also Nutri-Grain bars and those posh-ish Rice Krispies Squares.
Brand families change hands over time, but these are the crossovers that lived in our heads during the nostalgia years.
